Our client is democratizing the beauty and wellness industries. Its unique market place model, backed by powerful technology, is giving the power back to the artist and creating a space where an independent stylist, artist, or esthetician can optimize their business.   

This platform empowers beauty professionals with all the resources they need to operate their businesses including physical space, digital storefront, wholesale purchases, and more with zero upfront investment.

They are backed by beauty industry and tech veterans and they are looking for an experienced VP of Revenue, reporting to the CEO, to link all parts of the business and drive 3x growth. 
  

Responsibilities:


  • The VP of Revenue will own the P&L for the existing Marketplace plus drive the strategy execution of partnerships and organic growth strategies
  • Drive demand and ensure existing customer base growth
  • Oversee all business operations and execution across the customer online and offline journey.
  • Lead the go-to-market team including customer success/support, sales, BDR, marketing, and partnerships. 

Requirements:


  • 8-15 years progressive experience in building a marketplace model business, is a must.
  • Must have experience owning  and driving demand side growth metrics (not only via outbound sales,) as well as supply side satisfaction/expansion.
  • Must have owned a progressive revenue metric (again, demand side growth is preferred) in a B2B setting. Partnership growth is a high plus. 
  • Must have a passion for optimizing teams, driving high retention/NPS scores, and working at the Founder and Board level. 
  • Experience leading and scaling a team
  • Experience and contacts within the beauty or wellness industry is highly preferred. 
  • Must have experience working with a Seed or Series A funded SaaS company as an early hire. 
  • Proven experience owning the P&L for a business unit, product and/or service
  • Prior experience launching a new product, service, or market.
  • Must be local to NYC, Miami, or Los Angeles
