Role Overview
Our client is seeking a data-driven and execution-oriented Head of Growth to spearhead new customer acquisition and develop scalable growth systems for their core verticals. This high-impact leadership role will focus on driving performance across key channels while implementing analytics and attribution disciplines to support the company’s ambitious growth targets.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end new customer acquisition across key verticals, including HVAC, auto dealers, med spas, and pharmacies.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly application volume goals for each vertical.
- Scale and optimize core channels such as association emails, outbound sales, and direct mail campaigns.
- Establish campaign-level attribution and analytics to monitor customer acquisition cost (CAC) by source, geography, and segment.
- Develop growth hypotheses, test new channels, and execute high-leverage experiments.
- Build foundational marketing systems and tools.
- Collaborate with engineering to implement growth technology infrastructure and automate campaigns.
- Work closely with founders, product teams, and customer success to align growth strategies with overall go-to-market initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven track record of scaling revenue from around $5M to over $20M at a startup or growth-stage company.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of CAC, attribution, lifetime value (LTV), cohort analysis, and funnel optimization.
- Hands-on experience with omnichannel campaigns, particularly in email and direct mail.
- Familiarity with marketing tools like HubSpot, analytics dashboards, and spreadsheets.
- Experience selling to SMB owners or non-technical buyer personas is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to build growth systems from the ground up.
- Excellent communication skills, with a structured approach toward experimentation and iteration.
- Must be based in NYC and willing to work full-time in person.
