Our Story

“After spending many years at a traditional recruitment firm, I had the opportunity to join two high-growth start-ups as their Head of Talent.  Many important lessons were learned around what it takes to scale a start-up and why having the best talent can be the ultimate equalizer in the ultra-competitive venture-backed technology space.

In my last role, I was fortunate enough to work for a company that embodied the value that stuck with me “Be Human.”  The value spoke to me, and I reflected on the early part of my career. Why was this value of “Being Human” not at the core of every recruiter’s job description? Why do so many firms treat candidates like products and are only interested in making a fee?  

At that point, Captivate Talent was started with a mission to challenge the status quo of the recruitment industry and deliver high-caliber revenue talent to disruptive technology companies.”
