Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their sales team in the Phoenix, AZ area. In this role, you will manage the full sales cycle, including building and managing a sales pipeline, conducting market research, prospecting, and closing deals. You will be essential in expanding the company's customer base and driving revenue growth in a supportive and entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a personal book of business, including all supporting sales activities from prospecting to closing.
- Establish a presence in the West territory and develop relationships within the small business community.
- Conduct proactive prospecting for new business leveraging various sales tools and market research.
- Effectively communicate the company's value proposition to prospective clients.
- Act as an advocate for customer needs, providing feedback for product development and overall customer experience improvement.
- Travel within the Phoenix and Greater Phoenix area for networking events and client meetings.
- Perform additional duties as required to support departmental and organizational goals.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Account Executive and 1 year managing a complete sales cycle.
- Experience in B2B lead generation, particularly in a high-velocity setting such as SaaS or Fintech.
- Familiarity with sales tools including Salesforce, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Cold-calling experience is necessary.
- A results-driven mindset with a strong hunter mentality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to listen and gather information effectively.
- Ability to simplify complex topics for easy understanding.
- A creative problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to travel within the territory for business development opportunities.
