The Role
We are seeking a hands-on Director of Marketing to lead all facets of marketing efforts, reporting directly to the CEO. This role will encompass strategy development, execution, and team building, with a primary focus on defining the brand, initiating impactful campaigns, and driving demand specifically for enterprise development teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a small, agile marketing team
- Develop campaigns targeting enterprise software development teams
- Own messaging, positioning, and product storytelling
- Drive demand generation across digital channels, content creation, and events
- Manage social media, public relations, and developer outreach initiatives
- Track marketing performance, optimize return on investment, and manage budget
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing; familiarity with development tools or AI is a plus
- A proven track record of driving adoption in technical or developer-led markets
- Ability to create campaigns that resonate well with engineering teams
- Experience managing full-funnel marketing, from awareness to conversion
- A hands-on, scrappy mindset suited for early-stage startups
