Role Overview
We are seeking an Account Executive to join our client's team and play a pivotal role in scaling their high-velocity sales engine. In this position, you will manage the full sales cycle, working with a solid existing pipeline while also exploring new strategic opportunities. This hands-on role requires close collaboration with the founders, product, and engineering teams to refine customer profiles and enhance messaging based on market insights.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise customers.
- Manage a pipeline of high-potential accounts across diverse industries.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to shape demos, solutions, and messaging.
- Develop repeatable outbound strategies and early-stage sales playbooks.
- Provide customer insights to inform product and go-to-market strategies.
- Assist in defining key metrics and reporting as the team expands.
- Lend support to future Account Executive and Sales Development Representative hires by documenting and optimizing sales processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, ideally at a high-growth startup.
- Proven track record in outbound sales โ demonstrating creativity and self-motivation.
- A keen interest in AI and emerging technologies.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical clients.
- Ownership mentality โ treating revenue, customers, and processes with personal investment.
- Highly organized, data-driven, and process-oriented.
Bonus Points For
- Experience selling technical infrastructure (e.g., APIs, development tools, machine learning platforms).
- Background in consultative or solution-based selling.
- Familiarity with CRMs and sales tools such as HubSpot, Apollo, or Clay.
- A passion for puzzles or a willingness to engage in classic video games during onboarding.
