Role Overview
We are seeking an Account Executive to contribute to scaling a high-velocity sales engine and turn early traction into consistent growth. In this hands-on role, you will manage the full sales cycle while collaborating with founders, product, and engineering teams to refine customer profiles, enhance messaging, and provide market insights.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise customers.
- Manage a pipeline of high-potential accounts across various industries.
- Partner with product and engineering to shape demos, solutions, and messaging.
- Build repeatable outbound strategies and early-stage sales playbooks.
- Deliver customer insights to inform product and go-to-market strategy.
- Help define key metrics and reporting as the team grows.
- Lay the groundwork for future Account Executive and Sales Development Representative hires by documenting and optimizing processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, preferably at a high-growth startup.
- Demonstrated success in outbound sales โ scrappy, creative, and self-starting.
- Strong interest in AI and emerging technology.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Ownership mentality โ treating revenue, customers, and processes as your own business.
- Highly organized, data-driven, and process-oriented.
Bonus Points For
- Experience selling technical infrastructure (e.g., APIs, development tools, machine learning platforms).
- Background in consultative or solution-based selling.
- Familiarity with CRMs and sales tools like HubSpot, Apollo, or Clay.
- A passion for puzzles or a willingness to play classic video games during onboarding.
