About the Role
As a Founding Enterprise Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in the growth strategy by owning the full sales cycle with some of the largest and most influential companies globally. You will employ a consultative, technical approach to enterprise sales, leveraging your deep understanding of the data infrastructure space while fostering trust and closing strategic deals.
This is a high-impact position that offers an opportunity to influence revenue and contribute to product evolution as the organization scales.
What You'll Do
- Hunt & Close: Identify, engage, and finalize new enterprise opportunities, managing the sales cycle from first contact to signed contracts.
- Deep Discovery: Comprehend the technical and business challenges faced by modern data teams and position the solution as a critical component of their infrastructure.
- Strategic Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders in data, engineering, and operations.
- Solution Selling: Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to create tailored demos, POCs, and rollout plans.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Act as the voice of the customer, providing insights back to product teams to influence the product roadmap.
- Sales Excellence: Maintain pipeline hygiene, forecast accurately, and drive a repeatable and scalable sales process.
- Market Insight: Monitor trends in the data tooling ecosystem and provide competitive insights to the team.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8+ years of enterprise sales experience in B2B SaaS, ideally within data science, data infrastructure, developer tools, or analytics platforms.
- Proven success in closing complex deals worth 6–7 figures with enterprise accounts.
- Deep understanding of the modern data stack (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Airflow, Kafka, Fivetran, Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong technical acumen, able to engage thoughtfully with data engineers and delve into product details.
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and storytelling abilities.
- Highly curious, self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
