Role Overview
The Enterprise Account Manager will be responsible for managing a named portfolio of existing customer accounts and fostering strong, long-term relationships that encourage growth and engagement with the company’s offerings.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders, maintaining detailed records including contact information, organizational charts, and value propositions for each account.
- Facilitate smooth renewal processes and handle various commercial activities.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success Manager to explore customer use cases and business objectives that reveal opportunities for expansion.
- Execute on identified expansion opportunities effectively.
- Identify new areas for expansion, which may include adding licenses, reaching new teams or departments, or introducing additional products.
- Implement expansion strategies by developing connections with senior decision makers.
- Monitor key activities and the overall health of customer accounts, working closely with the Customer Success Manager to address potential churn risks.
- Keep internal stakeholders updated regarding commercial activities and account statuses.
- Research key accounts to develop and maintain strategic customer plans, understanding their business objectives and how the company’s solutions help achieve those goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in account management or a similar role within a B2B technology environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and develop solutions.
- Experience in strategy development and execution.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
