Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Founding Account Executive to join their team in San Francisco. This is a unique opportunity to be the first AE hire and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's go-to-market strategy while leveraging a strong inbound lead base.
Responsibilities
- Qualify, close, and expand high-intent inbound deals.
- Answer SDK/API questions live without the support of a sales engineer.
- Engage post-sale to drive multi-product adoption among customers.
- Provide direct customer feedback to product and engineering teams.
- Contribute to developing the go-to-market playbook and guide future sales hires.
Requirements
- Demonstrated technical fluency with the capability to debug webhooks and explain embeddings.
- A focus on revenue generation and building lasting relationships; ability to quickly identify high-potential accounts.
- Comfortable operating in an early-stage environment with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Nice-to-have: experience in sales for developer tools with a range of $20-100k ARR book.
