Role Overview
We’ve partnered with a forward-thinking tech company seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to join their growing sales team in the greater Boston area. This role will be based out of their Boston office with a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with solution engineers to plan, prepare, and execute deals in complex and technical sales cycles.
- Proactively engage with technology and business stakeholders in the target market to generate a robust sales pipeline.
- Deliver clear messaging and presentations, demonstrating how the platform uniquely addresses customer challenges and delivers significant business benefits.
- Oversee the business aspects of the entire sales cycle.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the observability market and assist customers in selecting the right solutions for their needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a new business hunter in SaaS companies, focusing on new logo acquisition and existing account expansion.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Proven ability to meet prospecting and business development goals, including outbound pipeline generation.
- Proficient in converting prospects to customers through qualifying opportunities, discovery, relationship building, and effective sales practices.
- Ability to develop and maintain a territory business plan, delivering accurate sales forecasts to leadership.
- Willingness to travel within the US to meet with prospects and attend events.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in sales related to Observability, Log Analytics, Monitoring, or APM is a significant advantage.
- Experience in selling cloud-based technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a considerable asset.
