Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Founding Account Executive (AE) based in New York City. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of the full sales cycle, driving new business initiatives with large enterprise clients while collaborating closely with the CEO and go-to-market team to refine the sales strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire sales cycle, from qualification to closing deals.
- Drive new business across Fortune 2000 companies.
- Partner with leadership to refine the U.S. sales strategy and playbook.
- Champion strategic deals through multi-stakeholder RFPs and engagement with C-level executives.
- Introduce the company's products to influential brands and organizations in the talent sector.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in B2B SaaS.
- Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise clients, with an eagerness to move upmarket.
- Thrives in high-growth, early-stage environments and is capable of building strategies from scratch.
- Strong interest in AI and enthusiasm for selling category-defining products.
- Demonstrated ability to close six-figure+ deals or readiness to step up to that challenge.
Bonus Points
Experience in sales-led growth in talent, HR tech, or AI-native products is a plus. Familiarity with selling to Chief People Officers, Talent Acquisition leaders, or Innovation/AI teams will be advantageous.
