Role Overview
We are seeking a Director of Agency Sales and Partnerships to enhance our client's presence within major agency holding companies and large independent agencies. This highly senior individual contributor role is ideal for an experienced seller who can drive activation sales and foster long-term partnerships within a high-growth startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead sales efforts across major holding companies and large agencies.
- Drive new activation sales and revenue growth through strategic relationships.
- Support and grow existing agency partnerships, unlocking new business across networks.
- Partner with junior account executives to coach, develop, and co-sell on activation opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Business Development and Product teams to align on go-to-market strategy and client needs.
Requirements
- Extensive experience selling into ad agencies (ideally 8+ years).
- Desire to be a player-coach, actively prospecting deals, running activation sales, and growing existing ad agency relationships.
- Deep network of senior and mid-senior agency and holding company relationships.
- Proven track record in activation or partnership sales within AdTech, especially within DSPs or audience/data solutions.
- A strong communicator with a collaborative approach and startup agility.
- Location in New York is a plus.
