Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Sales Manager to lead, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of Account Executives. This frontline sales management role is critical in driving revenue results and supporting team members in reaching their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Act as a mentor and leader for the sales team, driving revenue results while fostering individual growth.
- Manage the team and hold them accountable to performance expectations.
- Provide coaching by participating in client meetings and developing account strategies to drive deals forward.
- Engage with customers, typically quality managers in the life sciences, using a consultative sales approach.
- Influence strategic decisions through cross-functional partnerships and leadership communication.
- Forecast team pipeline and meet quarterly objectives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of total sales experience.
- 4+ years of experience in SaaS sales as an individual contributor.
- 4+ years of people management experience.
- Fluency in various qualification frameworks and sales methodologies, with an ability to adapt.
- Experience navigating sales cycles that involve regulation and compliance needs.
- A strong passion for building a customer-first, high-performing sales culture.
- Aptitude in managing complex decision-making teams.
- Innate curiosity to fully understand customer needs and requirements.
